How to resolve Printer "offline" issue
Background Information:
Middlesex IT has identified a potential issue with print services affecting a small number of team members. In some instances, printers are showing as offline after a successful print job or showing offline immediately after installation. We've resolved the issue with the most recent drivers and configurations in our printer portal. Please follow the directions below to reinstall your printer. If you require further assistance, please submit a case with the service desk here.
Instructions:
1. First, press the windows key and type "Printers and Scanners". Press enter.

2. Select the printer that is causing trouble, select "Remove device".

3. Navigate to the bottom right corner of your task bar, select the arrow, and click on the printer+ icon.

4. Next, select the state and office you work in, and click on the printer you need to access. You will be prompted to install the printer. You can also set this to be your default printer.

5. Once installed, you will receive this message.
