Changing FortiClient Username
Background Information:
For Team Members looking to access Citrix/HeavyJob outside of the Middlesex network, FortiClient VPN access is required. Previously, Team Members authenticated using their full name as their username. To better secure our technology and applications, Middlesex IT is requiring all team members change their FortiClient username to their Middlesex provisioned email address. To change your username in FortiClient, please follow the steps below. If you require further assistance, please submit a case with the service desk here.
Instructions:
1. Open FortiClient and select the settings icon in the top right corner.

2. Select “Edit the selected connection”

3. Next, change the username from your full name to your Middlesex email address.

4. Once your settings are changed, click “Apply” and “Close”

5. Your FortiClient console will now have your email address saved as the username going forward.
